There are two main components to AbideWithMe.us: housing and assistance.  If you are in need of assistance, please click on the Post In-Home Assistance Need tab and follow the prompts to identify exactly what type of help you need and what you’re offering in return.  For example, maybe you just need someone to spend each night in the house in case of emergency and give you an occasional ride to the grocery store and the doctor.  In that case, you may offer a room for a low monthly rate.  Perhaps you need someone to cook dinner and perform light housekeeping; you and the other person might agree that free room and board would be a fair exchange.  Or maybe you need 24 hour care, including assistance with personal hygiene, medications, cooking and housekeeping; this might entail room, board and a small salary for your assistant.

The beauty of AbideWithMe is that you and the person you invite to live in your home will custom-create an agreement that works for both of you.
